How to spot a drunk person #2

March 31, 2008

somewhere through the night your friend inexplicably disappears…

We played beer pong last Sunday. After the first round, E just disappeared. Eventually we found him hunched over a chair, drunk under a pile of clothes.

Davidson all up in your ass crease!

March 29, 2008

The clock has not struck midnight on Davidson yet, but time sure ran out on Wisconsin’s title hopes last night. I know, I know…I’m being spiteful to B.Mak, but this is my only time to gloat, since both him and P have better bracket scores than me. But how can you not root for Davidson? They’re this year’s Cinderella, no one has ever heard of them before and knows what state they’re located in and they’re led by some kid named Stephen Curry, who has been lights out and probably the tournament MVP so far. This is what makes the NCAA tournament so great, so continue to watch this weekend and see if Davidson can pull off another upset against heavily favored, Kansas.

Beer Pong Tourney Recap

March 25, 2008

Hong Kong: 1
Taiwan: 1

We never played a tie-breaker. But it was a grueling match with P carrying team Taiwan.

But to re-cap our Beer Pong Tourney from Sunday:

Ewing can’t last more than a round because he’s a b-tch at drinking, but he carried an entire team on his back.
VJ’s psyche outs involve bird chirping noises…comedy.
A.Wong was officially owned by BMak…but he makes it look so prittaaayyy!!
P is a monster at everything that involves a ping pong ball (interpret anyway you want)
Neh has the prettiest release ever
Kim represented with a late clutch shot
B talks too much trash

6 pitchers of beer, a shepherds pie, cheese fries, an irish stew, and a night at joe shanghai’s later…We were done. Good times.

How to spot a drunk person #1

1 Cosmo…$8
A 2nd Cosmo…$8
A 3rd Cosmo…$8
A 4th Cosmo…$8
Coming home and finding your roommate passed out on the toilet at 3am…Priceless

It was late at night (circa 3am) and my roommate was in the bathroom silent for the last 45 minutes. I heard no sign of life from them until 3 hours later.

Throwback Thursday - March Madness

March 20, 2008

With the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament set to get underway today, it’s only right that today’s Throwback Thursday be dedicated to college basketball.

The year was 1991, five freshman: Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson would forever change the face of college basketball. Their style was Hip Hop: bald heads, black socks and long baggy shorts. The way they played was straight streetball: Alley oops, in your face dunks and behind the back passes. Although they failed to win a national title (despite two straight trips to the NCAA title game), the mark they left on college basketball will never be forgotten. Here’s a look at probably the most influential basketball team of our era - Michigan’s Fab Five.

Good luck to everyone on their brackets!
