We needed to change the party details and venue because Cafe 81 totally flaked on us for NYE, and left us looking for a new venue. Thank goodness for QDT! FYI, DO NOT book your parties or even go to Cafe 81. The people there are horrible beyond belief. Anthony agrees and says, “word up!” The people there are ugly too. Especially the shorty bartender.

So we’re throwing a New Year’s Eve party this year!!! Should make for a great great time! We have several theme options:

- Propogate in 2008
- Roaring 20s
- Don’t hate in 2008
- Get a Mate in 2008

Whatever theme you choose, feel free to dress accordingly to it. But if you dress like a giant condom, I will cut you. Preferably, dress cool and not tacky. BMak is doing his Justin Timberlake thing. Anthony is dressing like he just hopped out of a J.Crew catalog. And Peanut is dressing up like…well…a peanut.

Also, we’re celebrating Rob’s 21st Birthday (for the 13th time) that night. And he has promised to take 21 shots before the night is over. See it to believe it.

Did you know that Kwanzaa isn’t a religious holiday? It’s not really a holiday at all. It’s more like Festivus for the rest of us, or like Scientology.

It was invented in 1966 by some guy Ron Karenga.

“Kwanzaa consists of seven days of celebration, featuring activities such as candle-lighting and pouring of libations, and culminating in a feast and gift giving. It was created by Ron Karenga, and first celebrated from December 26, 1966, to January 1, 1967. Karenga calls Kwanzaa the African American branch of “first fruits” celebrations of classical African cultures.”

It’s not even a thing that’s celebrated in Africa. Anyway, Kwanzaa falls on December 26th this year.

Every year, there is this house in my neighborhood that puts on an amazing display of Christmas lights and decorations. The house draws spectators from all over Queens and sometimes causes traffic on its block as drivers slow down to take catch a glance.

A new clip of Dave Chapelle is up. He was in London giving a performance. It looks like he’s back and better than ever!

After disappearing for practically 2 years, this dude comes out and gives a 6 hour and 12 minute stand up show at the Laugh Factory in LA!!!
